Yachts Miami Beach releases transportation optionsPosted on
Yachts Miami Beach said it will offer a convenient network of parking and transportation options for visitors who attend the Feb.16-20 boat show.
Yachts Miami Beach will take place along Collins Avenue, across from the legendary Fontainebleau and Eden Roc hotels.
For the second year, organizers said, the show will feature a display of superyachts at Island Gardens Deep Harbour on Watson Island, located on I-395/MacArthur Causeway. Interested guests can make appointments for yacht tours by contacting exhibitors or Show Management.
Free bus shuttle service will be available from parking garages to the boat show on Collins Avenue. Signage will help direct show attendees to the parking and free shuttle bus locations. The service will be offered every day of the show from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. — one hour before the show opens and one hour after it closes.
From the north, water taxi service embarks from the Miami Beach Rowing Club on 65th Street. Convenient parking is available at the 67th Street parking garage. From the south, guests can park at the 17th Street Miami Beach Convention Center Parking Garage. The water taxi stop is at 24th Street and Collins Avenue at the COMO Metropolitan Hotel dock.
Valet parking is available from Thursday, Feb. 16, through Sunday, Feb. 19, for $60 at 46th Street and Collins Avenue on the east side of the street. Taxis and Uber service are also located at 46th Street and Collins Avenue.
Parking at the 67th Street Garage, 6625 Indian Creek Drive, Miami Beach, will cost $30. Parking at the 17th Street Garage, 599 17th St., Miami Beach, will cost $15.
Two different boat shows take place in Miami and Miami Beach during Presidents Day weekend: Yachts Miami Beach and the Miami International Boat Show.
Bus shuttle service will run daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. between Yachts Miami Beach and the Miami International Boat Show on Virginia Key. Bus transportation from Yachts Miami Beach will be from show entrances 1-5 on Collins Avenue and run directly to and from the Miami International Boat Show.
Yachts Miami Beach is managed, produced and co-owned by Show Management and co-owned and sponsored by the International Yacht Brokers Association.
Show Management and Soundings Trade Only are owned by Active Interest Media.
