Marine Jet Power said Douglas Natoce joined the company as president and regional director for the Americas.

Marine Jet Power said Natoce has more than 37 years of experience in the commercial watercraft business and was most recently international sales manager for Brunswick Commercial & Government Products, where he was responsible for military sales and business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Prior to his time at Brunswick, Natoce worked for the state of Ohio as the officer in charge of an agency of 650 officers that specialized in vessel enforcement, marine, fisheries, wildlife and parks programs.

“With his broad range of experience and extensive network, Doug is a welcome addition to the MJP team as we take a decisive step in developing and executing MJP’s strategy for growth in the Americas,” Marine Jet Power CEO Magnus Sörenson said in a statement.

Owned by Verdane Capital, Columbus, Ohio-based Marine Jet Power builds waterjet propulsion systems for government patrol boats, service vessels for wind farms and the oil industry, and pleasure boats.

“As I begin this new role I look forward to building upon the legacy MJP has created as the global leader in waterjet propulsion,” Natoce said. “With a renewed focus on North, South and Central America, we will continue to satisfy customers with a diverse range of applications and new products — from government patrol boats to service vessels in the offshore wind and oil industries.”
