The Houston Summer Boat Show starts Wednesday at the NRG Center, featuring a range of boats for fishing, water sports and other activities.

Organizers said there also will be exhibits showcasing fishing and water sports gear and accessories, electronics for boating, outdoor furniture, vacation getaways, and clothing and jewelry.

The show will continue through Sunday. Many traditional features return this year, including demonstrations at the Bass Tub, a 4,000-gallon, 18-wheeler-size fish tank filled with live bass.

Children can catch a rainbow trout at Fish-O-Rama, meet Royale the Robot Ranger, an 8-foot, 7-inch joking, singing, dancing, high-fiving friendly robot and take advantage of fun activities at the Kids Zone.
