Technohull debuts 43-foot center console RIBPosted on
Technohull introduced a luxury rigid-hull inflatable, the Omega 41, which is available with inboard or outboard power.
The Greek builder said the boat has an LOA of more than 43 feet and a beam of about 11 feet. It rides on a twin-step bottom, and the deck layout is the creation of Greek designer Alexandros Liaskovitis, who is based in Milan, Italy.
The boat is built at the Technohull yard in Greece.
The focal point of the Omega 41 is the center console, which is sheltered by a T-top. The boat is equipped with shockproof bolsters at the helm, and the top can accommodate solar panels.
The forward section includes a storage area under the large sunpad and a seat on the front of the console. An owner can choose among seating layouts that include a large sunbathing area or a mobile galley that includes a sink and burners. The boat is also available with an enclosed head.
The Omega 41 is built with quadraxial fibers with carbon-fiber and infused epoxy resins; the tubes are formed from ORCA 866 1670 dtex material. An owner can choose between triple 350 or 400 hp outboards, and the yard is considering a four-engine installation that should deliver a top speed of 80 mph and a cruising speed of 50 mph.
A pair of 400-hp inboard engines would push the boat to an estimated top speed close to 65 mph and a cruise speed of about 45 mph.
