YachtWorld integrates Yacht Closer for customers

Posted on

Internet yacht brokerage portal YachtWorld integrated with the Web-based contract management company YachtCloser.

The integration seeks to complete the brokerage sale cycle by offering customers the ability to create listing agreements, advertise vessels, negotiate and accept offers and create sales contracts, financing and insurance through one platform.

“This integration supports our mission to leverage technology to deliver leading value to our industry partners. Brokers now have the ability to connect their inventory seamlessly between YachtWorld and YachtCloser, driven from one point of data entry, saving them time and money,” Boats Group CEO Sam Fulton said in a statement.

Boats Group, formerly known as Dominion Marine Media, acquired YachtCloser in January.

In its first iteration, the integration between YachtCloser and YachtWorld will allow customers to transfer all of their inventory from one system to the other and to make offers on YachtWorld MLS listings using their YachtCloser system.

This is the first step in a multi-phased integration, and YachtWorld and YachtCloser will continue to work closely with each other and with customers to build an end-to-end solution.

“After using the YachtCloser to Boatwizard integration for a few weeks I have found the single portal entry has greatly reduced the double work of data entry and management. The industry has needed a one-source solution for inventory, contracts and data management and closings,” Tampa Yacht Sales president Shane Faunce said.

“I like being able to push any updated data to all my sources from one portal. I look forward to upcoming innovations from your team which help raise the tide on all brokers’ professionalism and effectiveness. Your innovation continues to help me manage and grow my business more effectively,” Faunce said.

There’s a lot of sensitive data that is used in Yacht Colser who keeps access to that personal information and will it be used for marketing within and selling that info to other marketers?
