The Marine Dealer Conference & Expo is the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas’ annual conference and member meeting. The MDCE is the marine industry’s only dealer-specific educational conference; the fall event offers educational topics, an expo hall and networking opportunities.

MDCE 2014: Volvo Penta debuts new sterndrives with GM engines

ORLANDO, FLA. — Volvo Penta’s new 200- and 240-hp sterndrive engines made their first public appearance at this week’s Marine Dealer Conference & Expo, which wrapped up Wednesday. The 200/240, which are 4.3-liter V-6 catalyzed engines, are the first of a fleet of sterndrives that use General Motors Gen V engines.

MDCE 2014 VIDEO: MRAA president details new initiatives

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Marine Retailers Association of the Americas announced Tuesday that it launched four initiatives to broaden its services to the industry, including improvements to the dealer certification program and the creation of tools to connect employers and job seekers and to foster business-to-business activity.
