Institute is now offering free counseling service

Posted on

Northeast Maritime Institute offers a new career and license counseling service to people interested in pursuing a maritime career.

Andrew A. Hammond, a 14-year veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard Regional Exam Center in Boston, will join the institute’s Fairhaven, Mass., campus every other Wednesday to meet with mariners. He will guide them through the regulatory process of Merchant Mariner Licensing.

This is a free service, but an appointment is necessary. Call the Institute at (508) 992-4025 to schedule a maritime career and USCG licensing counseling appointment. Northeast Maritime Institute is a private, co-educational maritime education, training, regulatory analysis and development institution.
