Blackburn Kube motor lead disconnects

66_pipeline_2Blackburn Kube motor lead disconnects, from Thomas & Betts, give your technicians a fast, snap-together connection that makes changing electric motors quicker and cleaner, the company says.

“When you have a motor burn out, you need to change it quickly,” says Derek Stine, a technical service representative for Thomas & Betts. “It really makes it a lot easier. This not only saves time, but the job becomes safer and more goof-proof.” To install the Blackburn disconnects, crimp the male and female disconnects onto the cables, plug them together, slide on the insulating boot and secure it in place with two cable ties. When the motor needs to be swapped out, snip the cable ties, slip off the insulating boot and unplug the disconnects. For pricing information, go to www.tnb.com and click resources/where to buy.
