Though cold weather negatively affected second-quarter boat sales for MarineMax, company executives remain confident that the lag will be offset by early spring sales.
MarineMax officials blamed bad weather for a drop in second-quarter revenue and profits and a same-store sales decline, but the boat retailer predicted that sales have only been delayed until later in 2014, rather than lost.
MarineMax will hold a conference call to release its second-quarter earnings results at 10 a.m. EST on April 24.
