West Marine will hold its second annual Marine Electronics Expo at five locations on April 8.
West Marine is the largest specialty retailer of boating supplies and accessories, with nearly 300 company-operated stores in 38 states, Puerto Rico and Canada and five franchised stores in Turkey.
West Marine said it will begin accepting applications for 2017 BlueFuture grants on Saturday.

West Marine said it will celebrate the grand openings of its newer, larger stores in Woodbridge, N.J., and Apollo Beach and Spring Hill, Fla., with a “Day of Fun” at select East Coast locations on March 18.
West Marine reported 2016 net income of $6.5 million, which it said was a 44.6 percent increase from the previous year.
West Marine said it will host three fundraisers this year to support its nonprofit BlueFuture Fund and its ongoing grants program and will send its BlueFuture Kids Zone activity tent to store grand openings and special events around the country.
West Marine said today that associates and customers in its North American stores raised more than $10,000 during the retailer’s Month of Giving fundraiser in December to support the company’s nonprofit BlueFuture Fund.
West Marine will distribute Sea Hawk Paints to its wholesale customers via the West Marine Pro business-to-business division.
West Marine said it will start its annual Month of Giving to support its non-profit BlueFuture Fund on Dec. 1.
