Assault two-person pilothouse

Posted on Written by Chris Landry

Pacific Pilothouses introduced its Assault two-person pilothouse designed for RIBs and center console boats with a beam of 5 feet or more, according to the company.

The Assault, which weighs in at 335 pounds with a height of 79 inches and a width of 49 inches, is designed for military, first responders, search-and-rescue, fire, enforcement, and state and county utility workboats, according to president and owner Ed Slawson.

This pilothouse is also a good fit for dive boats, giving you a warm, dry place to go after getting out of the water. Its forward section is flat to make it easier to securely stow tanks and gear. It has a single forward-facing windshield for an unobstructed line of sight.

The Assault console can house two 12-inch electronics displays. All pilothouses come with Diamond Sea Glaze quarter-inch tempered safety glass. Aft-rake or forward-rake windows are also available to match boat profiles. More than 25 models are available. Pilothouses range from $4,000 to $17,000 depending on size and style. The Assault is $7,000. Contact: Pacific Pilothouses, (760) 583-2000. www.pacificpilothouse.com
