Convenience Products, the maker of Touch ’n Seal insulating foam and sealants, has received approval for marine applications of its 2.0 PCF Spray Foam.
The foam meets Coast Guard specifications for flotation materials. The product offers excellent buoyancy, increased structural strength, superior sound control and thermal insulation, says Michael Sites, industrial building materials marketing manager at Touch ’n Seal. The spray has a 30- to 60-second tack-free time, is cuttable in three to five minutes and is fully cured in an hour. The foam adheres to steel, aluminum, fiberglass, wood and most plastics and does not shrink or settle. Contact: Convenience Products, (800) 325-6180. www.touch-n-seal.com
