Northrop and Johnson Luxury Collection welcomed yachting veteran Andrew Cosgreave as its new managing director.

Cosgreave will be responsible for ensuring the continued profitability of the Fort Lauderdale-based company. He will work closely with key management staff in all aspects of new business development, marketing, human resources, all operating divisions, budgets and finances.

Cosgreave, who has a Bachelor of Science and a MBA in international business, brings 20 years of yachting experience to his new position. The South African native started out working as crew and ultimately became a captain, logging more than 100,000 nautical miles. He then worked as a U.S. technical and commercial representative for various European shipyards, fleet manager at Camper & Nicholsons USA, and served most recently as the president of yacht services and charter management at Merrill Stevens Yachts.

Sunstream Boat Lifts, a leading manufacturer of hydraulic boat lifts, hired Chase White as its business development manager. White, formerly the director of sales at HydroHoist Boat Lifts, will assist Sunstream in accelerating its domestic dealer network.

“We are confident in his ability to develop solid dealer partnerships and provide leadership that will benefit the entire Sunstream organization," said Ken Hey, president of Sunstream Boat Lifts, in a statement.

White joins the Kent, Wash.-based company after working six years with HydroHoist, where he developed two company distribution centers and more than 100 dealers. Prior to that, he was the operations manager for Boston Marine Contractors, an Arkansas-based family dock building/lift business.

White is based in Claremore, Okla., where he lives with his wife and son.
