Steve Fleming, director of communications for Mercury Marine, has been named editor of Bass & Walleye Boats magazine.

“I truly enjoyed my six years here, both dealing with the media and working with the folks at Mercury,” Fleming said in a note to media.

“Now I’m very excited about returning to my journalism roots, joining the good people at Ehlert/Affinity Publications, and rubbing elbows with the writers and editors of the boating industry,” he added.

This is Fleming’s last week at Mercury.
