Brandy Marine to manage Costa Rican marina

Brandy Marine International of Sarasota, Fla., was selected to manage the new full-service Porto Papagayo marina on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast.

The 350-slip marina, adjacent to the 2,300-acre Peninsula Papagayo resort development, is scheduled to open in December with 179 wet slips for vessels from 35 to 240 feet. Construction began this summer.

Brandy Marine assisted in all phases of the marina’s development, including market and feasibility studies, marina basin design, construction input and marketing.
