Women’s fishing seminars reduce early registration price

The "Ladies, Let's Go Fishing!" seminar series for women is now priced less than $100 for early-bird registrations received at least one month in advance.

Hosted by Florida's Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and presented by Mercury Outboards, the weekend seminars teach women saltwater fishing techniques for inshore, offshore, bottom and fly fishing at beginner and advanced levels, and offer "hands-on" fishing exercises.

Upcoming 2008 and 2009 seminars are scheduled for:

• Dec. 5-7, 2008 in Islamorada, Fla.
• March 20-22, 2009  in Naples, Fla.
• May 1-3, 2009 in Fort Lauderdale
• June 27-29, 2009 in Stuart, Fla.
• Nov. 20-22, 2009 in Islamorada

Seminar registration is $99 if booked one month in advance, $125 if booked less than a month, and $145 the week of the seminar. Islamorada rates are an additional $15.
