With the current state of the U.S. economy, abandoned boats are becoming more of a problem from California to Maine, according to a recent report.

Boats are considered a barometer of consumer confidence, disposable income, and the state of the economy. Now, marina and other officials are reporting an increase in the number of deserted pleasure and commercial vessels.
