ABYC publishes guide to EPA regulations

The American Boat and Yacht Council announced today that the first edition of its newest publication "EPA Regulations for Recreational Boats" is now on sale.

The publication provides a convenient source for the laws and regulations that govern the design and construction of boats in consideration of fuel and exhaust emissions. The excerpts of government publications contain all the amendments that were available as of the date of publication, September 2009, and include relevant sections from the Code of Federal Regulations Title 40, parts 1045 and 1060.

Additionally, the 2009 edition of the Rules & Regulations for Recreational Boats is available for purchase. It contains excerpts from the United States Code and the Code of Federal Regulations as of September 2009.

The previously published edition, January 2008, is now out of date.
