BoatU.S. names access award winners

BoatU.S. announced the five winners of its 2009 BoatU.S. Recreational Boating Access Award.

Winners are: Oregon's Port of Siuslaw; Florida's Kissimmee River Valley Sportsmans Association; Raymond Graziotto, president and COO of the Loggerhead Club & Marina; the village council and mayor of North Perry, Ohio; and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources' division of watercraft.

Boat U.S. created the award program in 2007 to highlight successes in protecting water access as boaters and communities were losing marina slips, service yards and launch areas.
