YachtWorld.com debuts marine finance service

YachtWorld.com recently launched the YachtWorld Finance Center, its new marine finance service for yacht brokers.

"YachtWorld.com's goal is to provide yacht brokers with services that will enable them to sell more boats," said Jeff Moore, director of sales for YachtWorld.com and Boats.com, in a statement. "The marine finance environment has been changing for some time and is continuing to do so with some businesses and banks exiting marine finance altogether while others alter their criteria.

"The YachtWorld Finance Center's mission is to stay on top of today's finance market and make sure it has the resources and knowledge to provide the finance programs our broker members and their clients want," he added.

YachtWorld.com has partnered with the Financial Underwriters Network to provide this new service.

YachtWorld.com and Soundings Trade Only are divisions of Dominion Enterprises.

It seems that Yachtworld should spend their efforts in improving their website and MLS process rather than sidetracking into the finance business. What is it the fourth such partnership?

If Yachtworld is already selling boats from consumer to consumer with boats.com and now they're in the finance business, when will they no longer need brokers?  Brokers need to wake up!
