Yachting magazine debuts new website

Yachting magazine launched a new website with features that include new blogs, topic-based forums and more video.

The new site represents Yachting's strategy of developing platforms that improve audience engagement and the overall brand experience. "Our plan is to use digital platforms to enhance the experience of the print product and foster a stronger community around our established brand," said editor-in-chief George Sass Jr. "The idea of only placing the content on the Web that appeared in print is a flawed model."

Particular emphasis is being given to the "Cruising" channel, which allows readers to plan their next cruise and adventure.

The magazine is also in the process of digitizing all of its content accumulated during the last 103 years.

Would be nice to still have some contact email addresses....even if it is a beta...

SO many web sites spend all that money on design and content, then will not respond to email or html forms...

Looks good so far, good job... Will check back.
