Coastal Angler debuts fishing app

Coastal Angler Magazine launched a smart phone FishOn application that delivers up-to-the minute local weather, marine conditions, tides, fishing regulations and other details that can affect a day on the water.

The GPS-driven, Marvel Mobi-powered application is available for Droid, BlacBerry, and soon the iPhone. In addition to fishing forecasts, catch photos, fishing reports and information on conservation, towing and fishing licenses, FishOn can direct anglers to fuel docks, wreck sites and reefs. It can also help anglers locate the closest tackle shop and provide a Google Maps route to get there.

The application costs $4.99 and can be downloaded here.
