Northeast fishermen protest Obama’s policies

Taking advantage of President Obama's family vacation on Martha's Vineyard, commercial fishermen staged a protest against federal fishing policy with a flotilla of commercial fishing boats in Vineyard Haven Harbor.

Twenty-five boats from Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York joined a half-dozen recreational fishing boats for the midday demonstration Thursday against new federal fishing restrictions they say are decimating the industry intentionally.

The president was reportedly golfing at the time.

Mr. Burns, obviously you were a koolaid drinker and therefore feel the need to belittle others ideas and the importance of them.  Now after your political party has wasted more money than any previous, you don't want anymore money wasted on impeachment for the most dangerous man to ever hold the office.  Keep drinking and you might get it sometime.

I'm not a big fan of many of our governments policies, but we've also seen that our industries (oil and banking as recent examples) are not able to police themselves.    The NE fleets have been suffering for decades and the West Coast is also feeling the pain as fish stock continues to dwindle.  God bless the Gulf fishermen, but they were seeing smaller catches even before the spill.  Is there really any alternative?  How many jobs will be lost when all the fish are gone?

I find it amazing that one can be so carefree. Until policy takes ones way of life, ability to support ones family and put food on the table. I for one solute everyone of the AMERICANS that protested. It is their God given right to do so to protect their way of life that is being legislated out of existance by people who have never had to earn a living. These policies also affect the Great Lakes and the recreational boating and fishing business. This is bigger than the Asian Carp issue. This is our own government who believes they know best while we tax payers, income earners, pay for their lavish elitest life style. What is the scariest statement you have ever heard: " I am from the Government and I am here to help."

Comments like these are really less than productive, not fact based and useless in a business environment. So now you want to waste more taxpayer money on impeachment?

He's done absolutely nothing moral or productive in 1 1/2 years

Time to start talking impeachment when we get a new congress
