stop complaining!  yes, an attempt is being made at liquidation - sorry that it does not meet all your un-obtainable ideals for selling old inventory...but it is way past time for it to go away.  Yes, use an established auto auction house, they know how to move inventory far better than the small minded marine "experts".  stop whinning and figure out how work with in the smaller market place that is here and now.

Seems just another case of mechanics trying to sell diamond rings,

The lienholders of these vessels and parts should use a company that specializes in the marine industry to get their highest return instead of a auto auction.

This is some old crap.........hope the retail public that buys stuff here is willing to accept stuff as-is with radios missing and other parts missing from these repos that have been sitting for a long time........most times outside and faded and not as nice as many used boats we get!

Several financial instituations, what a joke!  This is all GE Commercial (floor plan) junk.  This is finally an attempt by them to make a 'commercially reasonable sale' for some of the repo unts they own, albeit a little too late.  All dealers who had anything picked up by GE Distribution should be challenging how those units were sold and not pay a dime in deficiency.  I would hardly call a closed door deal with Skipper Buds in WI a reasonable attempt at achieving the highest price, a repo depot in WI? Seriously? There are many other outlets that specialize in that and would get a far better return.
