Companies join on PWC diagnostic tools

SBT Inc. and CanDooPro LLC formed an alliance for the design and manufacture of diagnostic equipment and tools for the power-sports industries.

Clearwater, Fla.-based SBT is the largest supplier of aftermarket parts and engines for personal watercraft in the world. CanDooPro is a new company that was formed to supply diagnostic equipment to the power-sports industries.

Greg Pickren, owner and founder of SBT, said the alliance "will make better diagnostic tools available to both dealers and do-it-yourselfers alike and is a win-win for both SBT and CanDooPro."

"SBT was a perfect fit for us, bringing manufacturing expertise, economies of scale and excellent marketing and distribution channels," CanDooPro co-founder Jeff Waterstreet said.

"CanDooPro's diagnostic tool technology is second to none," SBT president CJ Lammers said. "And we are excited to be teaming up with CanDooPro for the development of future SBT diagnostic tools."

"Power-sports dealers and end users worldwide have desperately needed good diagnostic equipment for some years now," CanDooPro co-founder Dennis Matthews said, "and this partnership will help bring a supply of top-quality, affordable diagnostic tools to the market."
