Company debuts chart-plotting app

Derek Trauger & Associates LLC announced the release of its newest boating app called Simple Charts.

Simple Charts delivers an easy-to-use chart-plotting solution for the iPhone and iPad. Users can view all NOAA Raster Navigational Charts, which automatically load no matter where they are in the United States.

Once the charts have been downloaded, no Internet connection is needed to run the app.

Simple Charts is available as an iPhone/iPad app download for $9.99.

Simple Charts for Android and Windows Mobile 7 platforms, as well as additional countries, will be released in the near future, the company said.
