C-PORT signs agreement with boating law group

The Conference of Professional Operators for Response Towing and the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators recently ratified a memorandum of understanding regarding a marine assistance industry quality partnership, C-PORT announced.

“This memorandum of understanding is unlike many others,” C-PORT executive director Tina Cardone said in a statement. “It embodies a true working relationship between the parties. This [agreement] formalizes an existing partnership between the associations. Many of NASBLA’s programs focus on training and safety, items of high importance to the C-PORT membership.”

The agreement was signed at NASBLA’s 52nd conference, which was held Sept. 10–14 in Milwaukee.
