Yachting Solutions acquires new Maine facility

Yachting Solutions announced the acquisition of the former Lewis Marine Building in Rockland, Maine.

Renovations will be conducted through the winter, and Yachting Solutions will formally occupy the building late next summer, the Herald Gazette newspaper reported.

Yachting Solutions CEO Bill Morong said the facility will consolidate the storage operations of the company at one location, saving money. According to the company's application to the Rockland Planning Board, its plan calls for renovating the nearly 60,000-square-foot building at a cost of $300,000.

Yachting Solutions is a yacht services company, specializing in restorations, modifications, repowering and providing yacht maintenance, storage and crew services. Yachting Solutions also operates Trident Yacht Basin in Rockland.
