The National Marine Manufacturers Association, along with 11 other industry trade organizations, signed a letter to the U.S. Senate on behalf of the Brazil Trade Action Coalition opposing the Brazil WTO cotton amendment offered by Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.
“The bill could result in nearly $1 billion in Brazilian trade sanctions against U.S. goods, costing tens of thousands of American jobs and establishing a dangerous precedent for future actions in the World Trade Organization,” according to the NMMA.

THANK THE LORD THINGS TURNED OUT DIFFERENTLY. I USED TO BE A REPUBLICAN, I'M SHAMED TO SAY, NOW I'M NEITHER, AND HAVE BECOME PERHAPS A 99%er, FOR I THINK IT IS TIME FOR MAJOR CHANGES, AND SPECIALLY THOSE THAT WILL MAKE SENSE FOR THE COUNTRY, REGARDLESS OF ANY PARTY, OR BIPARTISAN IDEA.
IT IS TRULY SICKENING, IN THE BOATING INDUSTRY WE HAVE FEW FRIEND, AND WORSE, THE NUMBERS KEEP SHRINKING EACH DAY, NOT JUST OUR SALES!
IT IS OBVIOUS WE ALL NEED TO GET MUCH MORE INVOLVED THAN IN THE PAST.......(regardless of how much little spare time many of us have)
