Glastron debuts GT 200 at New York show

Rec Boat Holdings announced that Glastron's new GT 200 is premiering this week at the New York International Boat Show.

The GT 200 follows in the footsteps of the GT 160, a new 16-footer that hit the market in the fall. The new 20-footer on display at the show is the first in a series of platform models to roll out in the coming weeks.

The GT 200 platform is newly designed from bow to stern, a strategic move the company is making across all of its brands this year, according to Glastron.

“Our new product development plan is unfolding just as we planned,” Rec Boat Holdings group president Roch Lambert said in a statement. “The new GT 200 and GT 160 is evidence of our commitment to bring the Glastron brand to the next level in terms of design, innovation and family-friendly boating. The GT 200 is only the beginning of a brand new 20-foot platform, with plenty more to come.”

The company also rolled out its “Own the Moment” retail promotion, available through March 31. Eligible consumers can receive as much as $5,000 in cash back on a new Glastron purchase from participating dealers.
