ABBRA releases 2011 wage rate survey

Results from the American Boat Builders & Repairers Association's 2011 Wage Rate Survey are now available.

The survey results, generated via information from ABBRA members and other members of the marina and boatyard industry, allow employers to gauge whether they are fair and competitive in the employment market. Employees and independent contractors also can research whether they are getting the correct compensation for their work.

“The Wage Rate Survey offers an unbiased look at where we stand as an industry in terms of wages and benefits,” ABBRA president Pam Lendzion said in a statement. “All members of the marine industry can use the information to ensure they attract the best talent with competitive wages and benefits.”

The Wage Rate Survey is available at no cost to all ABBRA members who provided data for this year’s survey and is $65 for members who did not contribute data. The cost of the survey is $99 for all non-members.

To order the survey, submit a publications order form by fax (401) 247-0074 or by mail to ABBRA, 50 Water St., Warren, RI 02885.
