Dominion debuts new online inventory tool

Dominion Marine Media, the division of Dominion Enterprises that operates YachtWorld.com, BoatTrader.com and Boats.com, launched BoatsCentral, a new inventory management tool and product suite for BoatTrader and Boats.com dealers.

As a product suite, BoatsCentral provides dealers with a comprehensive business solution, including:

• A lead management system that tracks leads from online and traditional sources

• Easy-to-use dashboard and real-time performance reports

• A Boats.com website editor to maintain and update online storefronts

• Account management

    “These tools give dealers the ability to manage their online business efficiently and independently,” Dominion Marine Media director of marketing Courtney Chalmers said in a statement. “Inventory displayed on Boat Trader and Boats.com reaches 2.1 million users each month. With 5 percent of those visitors becoming leads, it is imperative that marine dealers have a system to quickly and easily upload and manage inventory, respond to and nurture online leads and provide in-store customers with professional printouts on-demand.”

    BoatsCentral also gives dealers the ability to:

    • Create, update and manage boat, engine and trailer advertisements, including access to historical changes and performance for listings

    • Enhance individual ads on any Dominion Marine Media portal

    • Export inventory to multiple sites within the Dominion Marine Media network

    • Easily upload video to all inventory listings
