IGY Marinas finishes New York marina expansion

IGY Marinas completed the megayacht berth expansion project at the Newport Yacht Club & Marina in New York Harbor.

The undertaking has increased the number of berths at the marina available to megayachts by 50 percent, to 18, in addition to 154 standard slips.

“Newport Yacht Club & Marina stands ready to welcome even more megayachts and visitors to the most convenient dockage location in New York Harbor. We are pleased to be able to meet the ever-increasing demand for larger yacht berths while continuing to offer best-in-class service,” IGY Marinas vice president of real estate Eric Simonton said in a statement.

Newport Associates Development Co. owns the marina.
