AMI elects 2012 officers, board members

The Association of Marina Industries elected 2012 officers and directors at its annual International Marina & Boatyard Conference last week in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Gary Groenewold, of Westrec Marinas, was appointed chairman, and Jim Frye, of Westrec Marinas, will continue to serve as president.

Jeff Rose, of Marinas International, was appointed vice president; Keith Boulais, of Premier Materials Technology, was reappointed secretary; and Brad Gross, of OC Dana Point Harbor, was appointed treasurer.

The following new directors were voted to the AMI board: Chris Petty, of Suntex Ventures; Mark Stafford, of Marinas International, representing the KY/TN Marine Trade Association; and Ken MacDonald, of Bay Port Yachting Centre.
