Dealer conference reports strong early registrations

Registrations for this year’s Marine Dealer Conference & Expo in November are already setting records, and brochures haven’t even been printed yet.

The MDCE said nearly 250 people have registered for the event, a record-setting early registration total. More than 170 dealers have signed up, representing more than a third of last year’s dealer total, and almost half are new to the event.

"We were very excited that our early registration offers were so well received," Mike Davin, senior editor at Boating Industry magazine, said in a statement. "We feel like it's an endorsement of the type of event we've been able to put together over the years, as well as the agenda for the 2012 MDCE."

The MDCE will be held Nov. 11-14 in Orlando, Fla.
