RBFF will highlight programs at ICAST

The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation will attend the International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades show, which will be held Wednesday through Friday this week at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

RBFF staff will showcase the organization’s programs and products and be available to discuss partnership and advertising opportunities.

“ICAST is a great opportunity to share our efforts with the fishing industry and to engage with others to help advance our mutual goals,” RBFF president and CEO Frank Peterson said in a statement. “The more we can bring the industry together, the greater impact we'll have on increasing participation overall and increasing the number of current and future fishing industry customers.”

Located in the show’s Cyber Lounge (booth 218), RBFF will highlight its Take Me Fishing campaign and digital tools, which include TakeMeFishing.org and its mobile content, the Take Me Fishing Boat Ramp App and the partner-embeddable Places to Boat & Fish Map.

The RBFF said new research shows fishing participation is up and that for the first time in years more people are coming into the sport than have dropped out.
