Top 10 tunes for your boating playlist

Boaters nationwide have helped compile a top 10 boating playlist, according to a Discover Boating release.

“Nothing beats the right playlist when you’re on the water with friends and family,” said Discover Boating’s Ellen Hopkins in the release. “Whether you’re fishing, sailing, wakeboarding or just cruising, boating lets you disconnect from the daily grind, and adding the perfect soundtrack enhances the fun and enjoyment of any boating experience.”

After polling Discover Boating’s 500,000-plus fans on Facebook, 1,106 voters ranked the following 10 songs:

1. “Knee Deep,” Zac Brown Band

2. “Redneck Yacht Club,” Craig Morgan

3. “Pontoon,” Little Big Town

4. “Come Sail Away,” Styx

5. “Southern Cross,” Crosby, Stills & Nash

6. “A Pirate Looks at Forty,” Jimmy Buffett

7. “Son of a Son of a Sailor,” Jimmy Buffett

8. “Sailing,” Christopher Cross

9. “Water,” Brad Paisley

10. “Soul of a Sailor,” Kenny Chesney

Too bad you do not have links to hear them.That woulda been cool,then we could D/L the ones we wanted.Guess we have to Google them,for now.
