Cobalt Boats announced Aaron Krenzer was hired as regional sales manager for its newly formed Southeastern United States and Latin America regions.

Krenzer comes to Cobalt with experience in retail boat sales and marina management, in addition to sales experience for a major yacht builder, according to Cobalt.

He  will manage a new territory that includes Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama and Mississippi. Krenzer will also be responsible for managing, servicing and developing the dealer network in Mexico, South America and Central America.

Beth Leonard was named technical editor of BoatUS publications and assistant director of technical services.

In addition to writing for Seaworthy magazine, she'll be technical editor for the group's flagship publication, BoatUS Magazine, according to BoatUS.

Leonard grew up boating on Lake Ontario in upstate New York and has completed two circumnavigations.

She is the author of “The Voyager's Handbook,” a how-to guide for those who want to head offshore in their own boats, and narratives about her two circumnavigations: “Blue Horizons” and “Following Seas.”
