NMMA names 2012 CSI award winners

The National Marine Manufacturers Association Tuesday recognized recipients of the 2012 Marine Industry CSI Awards for the award period from April 2011 through March 2012.

Forty-one boat and engine manufacturers were recognized for excellence in customer satisfaction as part of the NMMA’s Customer Satisfaction Index program.

The recipients will be acknowledged in October during the annual Industry Breakfast at the 2012 International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference in Louisville, Ky.

“It is an honor to recognize these manufacturers for their outstanding focus on the creation of quality products and an enjoyable customer experience,” NMMA director of CSI programs Terry Leitz said in a statement. “Recipients of the CSI Awards are leading the recreational boating industry forward by ensuring feedback from their customers is an integral part of their planning and manufacturing functions.”

I find it hard to believe Boston Whaler won it for the Fiberglass Outboard Boats category.
