Teleflex Marine was recognized for Best Store Sales Support by West Marine as part of its 2012 annual Very Important Vendor Awards.
The Best Store Sales Support award goes to the vendor that provides outstanding packaging, in-store displays and point-of-sale materials, as well as product information and sales training for store managers and salespeople.
West Marine sales personnel must be able to provide guidance to boaters who need to repair or replace one of the Teleflex systems. To help equip sales and service personnel with the in-depth product information they need, Teleflex offers a full range of online training modules through its Onboard Rewards Program.
West Marine sales and service staff can log on to the Teleflex website and work through dozens of individual classes on steering, controls, gauges and many other topics related to Teleflex systems and components. The points they accumulate for completing classes can be redeemed for merchandise or gift cards.
