Australian company unveils new propeller line

Australian propulsion specialist Veem launched its latest range of precision-engineered propellers designed for the production boat market.

Veem said the new range, named the R-Series, is targeted at manufacturers looking for a superior-quality, fully machined prop, but at a competitive unit price.

The R-Series uses the company’s unique single setup and “true 5-axis robotic CNC machining process” to ensure precision quality results and 100 percent repeatability to the design, the builder said.

Despite the high design and production standards, the new range will offer buyers savings of as much as 40 percent, compared with the company’s VeemStar fully custom propeller range, according to the company.

“Quality, reliability and consistency should always be the three core priorities for production boat manufacturers when specifying a new propeller partner,” Veem managing director Brad Miocevich said in a statement.

“However, we understand that cost remains a key driver, especially when switching suppliers. With that in mind, we set about designing a product that met our quality standards, but at a price that is in line with our rivals’ offering.”
