Island Global Yachting adds marina

Blue Haven Marina, located in Providenciales in the Turks & Caicos Islands, recently joined the Island Global Yachting network.

Slated to open next summer to yachts up to 180 feet and initially a maximum draft of 5.5 feet, plans for maintenance dredging will bring the marina’s capacity back to the original 12 feet projected by the winter.

Located 575 miles southeast of Miami, the marina is a gateway to the Caribbean. An integral part of the Blue Haven Marina and Resort, the marina is surrounded by nearly 20 acres of waterfront land on the island’s northeast coast.

Marina guests will have full access to the resort, including a hotel boasting a gym, private beach and an infinity-edge swimming pool with lounge decks for entertainment.

The property also will have several restaurants and bars, and an array of watersport activities and day charters — sail and sportfish.
