Beneteau will debut 55-footer in Miami

French sail- and powerboat builder Beneteau announced the latest model in its long-range cruising line of sailboats, the Oceanis 55, will make its North American debut Feb. 14-18 at Strictly Sail Miami.

A special event for invited guests and members of the press will be held Feb. 14. Members of the press will have an opportunity to participate in the Oceanis 55 sea trials Feb. 19-20.

“The world premiere of Beneteau’s Oceanis 55 was one of the highlights at the Paris Boat Show this past week,” Beneteau America director of sales Denise Hanna said in a statement. “A number of our dealers from the U.S. and Canada traveled to Paris specifically to preview every detail of Beneteau’s newest yacht before its introduction to the North American market and we’ve already secured our first two retail orders.”
