BoaterRated launches consumer ads

BoaterRated LLC, which operates an independent marine business review website, is reaching out to consumers.

That’s according to founder Carl Schellbach, who has launched two advertisements that are running on Ship Shape TV, a program that teaches boaters do-it-yourself repairs.

“We’ve made some pretty good inroads on the business side, but we are trying to increase awareness on the consumer side,” Schellbach told Soundings Trade Only.

BoaterRated recently added more than 5,000 marine businesses from Florida.

Business owners who find their business on BoaterRated.com can claim it and then enroll in the Partner Business Program free and receive the benefits of partnership.

“We have noticed that more people are looking at the site, and we’d like to encourage marine businesses to implore their customers to tell their fellow boaters about the service they received by writing a review on BoaterRated,” Schellbach said in a blog.
