NMMA updates attendance result for Miami show

The National Marine Manufacturers Association announced there was an error in initial attendance calculations for the Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show.

Show attendance was actually up about 1 percent, reported NMMA spokeswoman Sarah Ryser, to 102,118 this year, versus 100,917 in 2012.

Initial reports showed that attendance had remained essentially flat, dropping very slightly.
