Christopher Bernish, most recently vice president and general manager of First Protection Corp. (the marine business unit of Missouri-based Protective Asset Protection) and sales lead for powersports products, was promoted to senior vice president of operations for Protective Asset Protection.

Bernish assumes responsibility for the administrative operations of all Protective Asset Protection lines of business, including automotive, RV, powersports and marine.

Senior vice president of distribution Rick Kurtz will assume sales and distribution responsibility for all Protective Asset Protection lines of business, including marine, powersports, RV and automobile.

“Chris and Rick are key members of Protective’s management team, and I'm confident their new roles will have an immediate, positive impact on executing a well-coordinated, customer-focused growth strategy,” Protective Asset Protection president Scott Karchunas said in a statement.
