Dealers at the Houston International Boat, Sport and Travel Show said they were surprised at how well they were doing at this year’s event, and attributed some of the business to Hurricane Ike.

The captain of a South Korean-flagged ship has been sentenced by the U.S. District Court in Tacoma, Wash., for violating the Act to Prevent Pollution from Ships.
