Brunswick Corp. plans to close its Cumberland, Md., plant and transfer production of Trophy offshore fishing boats to a plant in Ashland City, Tenn.

More than 3,000 visitors this fall toured Showtime, the classic 63-foot Trumpy motoryacht serving as a floating showcase for marine products, according to marine industry consultant Jock West, organizer of the promotional tour.

RBFF releases purchasing survey

The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation reports that Anglers’ Legacy Ambassadors who responded to a recent survey say they each purchase approximately $153 in boating supplies and $140 in fishing tackle and equipment per year.
