Technical Sales Representative

Fiber Glass Industries, Inc. (FGI) of Amsterdam, NY is growing and expanding our sales team! FGI has been supplying composites manufacturers for over 50 years. Beginning with a full line of woven fiberglass and combination products, we later installed and continue to operate our own furnace and are now one of the top producers of specialty fiberglass mat and cloth products for closed molded / RTM fiberglass composites manufacturers.

Position - Technical Sales Representative Florida. Sales Representatives work to build strong customer relationships. They are expected to work closely with Product development and production to ensure customer specifications are met.  Reports to the Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Identifying sales opportunities
• Identifying key customer requirements and showing customers how our  products meet or exceed those requirements
• Negotiating and closing sales deals – must be a closer.
• Following-up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and expand business opportunities
• Maintaining and updating data about territories and accounts.

Requirements

·         Bachelor's degree in marketing or business related field.

·         Marine industry experience preferred. 

·         5 years of sales and/or marketing experience

·         Demonstrated skills in achieving sales, profitability, and budget goals

·         Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written 

·         Demonstrated commitment to building strong business relationships with customer

·         Technical aptitude, problem solving and critical thinking skills

·         Must live in Florida
