 Achieve or exceed Engine Wholesale and Retail targets, Parts, Accessories, Clothing Wholesale

Targets and Network Optimization Targets for sales district

 Strategically target accounts by current and potential revenue, cost to sell/service, and likelihood

of growth

 Increase market share by advising dealers on the maintenance of proper stocking levels, based

on their specific business plan, in order to keep dealers focused and growing

 Coach and improve the network in ways that ensure sales objectives are achieved and dealer

performance is consistent with certification guidelines

 Grow dealer network by working collaboratively with OEM Sales Managers, OEM Sales

Representatives and Business Development Manager to open new accounts

 Utilize sales tools and schedule time to organize dealer visits, manage relationships and deliver

on dealer-specific action plans;

 Provide exceptional customer service through immediate response to dealer requests

 Proactive management of achievement vs profitability/sales goals

Thorough product and program knowledge

 Proactively contribute to key district events and district-specific marketing initiatives utilizing

available tools to increase wholesale and retail results

 Increase dealer engagement through relationship-building, coaching and sales training

 Support dealer product sales through attendance of boat shows, trade shows and dealer events

 Effectively manage district travel budget

 Ensure collaboration and communication with teammates and other departments

 Other duties as assigned.


 Bachelors degree in Business or a related field

 Minimum three (3 years) of related experience such as past wholesale sales or retail

management, preferably within Marine, Powersports or Automotive industry

 Self-motivated and disciplined

 Proven relationship management and B2B and B2C outside sales skills

 Strong territory management system and approach

 Must present a positive and professional appearance with excellent communication and

presentation skills

 Ability to stay informed on current industry trends and apply information to sales opportunities

 Problem-solving, confidence and the ability to react quickly with well thought out strategic

business decisions

 Strong influence and persuasion skills

 Tolerance to ambiguity and a high level of flexibility/adaptability

 Significant knowledge of the retail environment with a proven track record in “closing the sale”

 Strong organizational and mathematical aptitude

 Extensive travel is required

 Proficiency in MS Office-Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Apps

 Time management skills, with ability to prioritize efficiently with excellent organizational skills

 Ability to multi-task to handle extremely fast paced and changing department needs

 Ability to work both collaboratively with a team and independently with minimum supervision.

 Local market knowledge of the district area covering the states of CT, MA, ME, NH, NY, RI, VT
